We focus on organic, gluten-free, and plant forward (not 100% vegan) meals that can be customized to meet a variety of dietary needs. About the Role:
As our Head Chef, you will play a vital role in leading our kitchen team and shaping the culinary identity of Busy Bee Organics.
You will be responsible for:
Creating innovative and delicious menus that showcase seasonal, organic ingredients.
Ensuring the highest standards of quality control and food safety in the kitchen.
Leading and mentoring a team of cooks, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with our network of local farmers and purveyors.
Managing inventory and food costs to maintain profitability.
Contributing to the development and execution of new recipe ideas.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a head chef or sous chef in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment.
Proven experience in menu development and recipe creation with a focus on healthy, organic cuisine.
Strong understanding of dietary restrictions and ability to cater to a variety of needs (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.).
Exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a kitchen team.
Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
Proficiency in kitchen management software and strong organizational skills.
